But what are you going to do with your fabulous new skincare products? Well, we’ve got some tips! If you’re just getting started with your routine, it can be tempting to try everything at once. While that may be fun for a few weeks, keep in mind that you’re only using quality ingredients designed for your skin type. More is not always better! Once you find a routine that works for your lifestyle, stick to it! Skincare products have active ingredients such as moisturizers and cleansers. They work best when used properly – so never skip out on washing off all those little bits of makeup residue before bed.

Concealer

I have been using the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Concealer for years. It comes in a variety of shades, so it’s easy to find one that matches your skin tone exactly. The texture is really smooth, but not too thin or liquidy. It blends really well, so you don’t need to worry about streaks or anything like that. For my eyes I’ve been using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer which comes in two colors: Light1 (shade perfect for fair skin) and Light2 (shade perfect for medium skin). This one is also great because it has a little bit of SPF so it protects your delicate under-eye area while still looking natural.

For blush, I like to use Benefit’s Rockateur. It’s bright, but not so in-your-face that it draws attention away from your eyes or face. You can also apply it lightly for a hint of color instead of a solid coat if you want something really subtle. I love using cream blush because it looks more natural than powder products. The Body Shop makes a really good line of cheek tints that can be used like a cream blush or tinted lip balm with just one product!

Sunscreen

We know it is not always easy to find your perfect sunscreen. We know that you will be outside all day, so you need something that is going to protect your skin well. You need a good SPF of at least 30, but preferably 50+. You also want something with UVA/UVB protection. It should be lightweight and have a matte finish so your face doesn’t get greasy or shiny throughout the day. And lastly, it needs to smell nice!

Here are some of our favorite picks for sunscreen, perfect for your summer vacation! This is by no means a comprehensive list, but these are some that we have tried and tested personally. The Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence is a Japanese brand that has quickly become one of our favorites. It has an SPF of 50+ PA++++ rating, so you know it will be good in protecting you from harmful rays. After Shave

The first time I was introduced to Strawberrynet, I was looking for a new aftershave. The one that my dad had been using for years had just run out, so he asked me to go on the hunt. I came across this lovely aftershave by Penhaligon’s and it smelled like the perfect mix of sandalwood and oak moss – slightly herbal but masculine at the same time. It’s such a classic scent that works well with any cologne (or just on its own) without being overpowering or too musky. Plus, it lasts for a really long time without needing touchups throughout the day. It’s pretty fantastic!
